Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Makeup Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for beauty and aesthetics, with the ability to enhance clients' appearances through various makeup techniques. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of color theory, as well as proficiency in makeup application and other beauty services.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional makeup applications for clients, ensuring a flawless finish that meets their individual preferences.
- Utilize knowledge of color theory to select appropriate shades and products for different skin tones.
- Provide additional beauty services such as hair styling, eyelash extensions, body waxing, and hair threading as needed.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice on makeup products and techniques.
- Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products to continually enhance skills and service offerings.
- Capture high-quality photographs of completed looks for portfolio development and promotional purposes.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Makeup Artist or in a similar role within the beauty industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with various makeup techniques including dermabrasion and special effects makeup is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and product safety standards in the beauty industry.
- A background in photography is beneficial for capturing client transformations.
