Driver Recruiter Job Responsibilities:
The Driver Recruiter will coordinate all aspects of the owner-operator recruiting process and attain measurable results while complying with company directives, local, state, national laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting and retaining owner-operators in a multi-site organization.
- Partner with Management to forecast and develop plans for key staffing/retention initiatives.
- Manage full cycle recruiting process.
- Create and implement Employment Marketing Strategies to attract qualified owner-operators.
- Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict recruiting initiatives.
Driver Recruiter Preferences:
- Ability to work with independent contractors. Strong data entry skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines.
- Flexible to ever changing transportation environment.
- committed to the organization and the people.
- Team player - Interacts effectively with people externally and internally.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
Qualifications:
- 3 years’ experience in driver recruiting
- Transportation/trucking background
- Working knowledge of DOT driver qualification regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
