What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Waiter position at Ooka Japanese Restaurant?
We are seeking Restaurant Servers!
Ooka Japanese Restaurant is looking for a friendly, outgoing, and customer service-oriented individual to join our team. We are looking for a personable individual who is passionate about hospitality and enjoys working with people. This position requires a personable, outgoing individual to greet and serve guests. The ideal candidate will be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, as well as multi-task, pay attention to detail, and follow all company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must have the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a background check with the local city/county.
- Duties include: answering phone calls, serving guests, checking their orders into place, closing up the restaurant, cleaning the restaurant, preparing food items such as lining up plates for service, etc.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers (in person & over the phone) & other staff members.
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments.
- Must be friendly & courteous to all guests & staff.
- Follows all Ooka Japanese Restaurant policies and procedures.
- Maintains restaurant cleanliness and order throughout the day.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
