Oomkes Landscape Mgt Inc is seeking an experienced Horticulture Crew Leader to lead the way in caring for our customer's landscapes. Come join our family owned 90 year-old landscape management and snow removal company.
ABOUT YOU (QUALIFICATIONS):
- Horticulture Degree (or 3 years of gardening/landscape management experience)
- Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain within 45 days of hire date)
- Professional Communication and Customer Service Skills
- Ability to Lead Others
- Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License
- Positive Attitude and Trustworthy
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Horticulture & Landscape Management includes, but is not limited to, spring & fall clean-up of landscape beds, pruning, maintenance of perennial and annual flower beds and containers - weeding, deadheading, applying deer repellent, pesticide and herbicide applications, edging, and installation of seasonal colors.
- Equipment Usage: trucks, trimmers, wheelbarrows, shovels, hoes, sprayers with chemicals, hand tools for maintenance of equipment, various power equipment, and general garden equipment.
- Winter Work: includes, but is not limited to snow and ice removal using snow blowers, plows, power equipment, and shoveling by hand (premium pay for snow work completed on nights & weekends).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
You MUST be able to do ALL of the following for this position:
