One of our customers on the Oomple platform is looking for a BCBA – Behavioral Analyst.
Our client has several roles that will be a blend of onsite telehealth and client visits. You will work closely with children, adolescents, and their families. These are full-time permanent roles, allowing you the flexibility to set your own schedule for client sessions.
What You’ll Bring:
- Master’s Degree in Psychology or a related field.
- BCBA certification through the LPA or BCBA licensure (Psychology Board).
- At least 2 years of experience working as a BCBA.
- Experience in assessing, observing, and documenting patient behavior.
- Ability to identify and address safety or behavioral concerns.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors, including aggressive tendencies, in a supportive and therapeutic manner.
- Strong computer literacy.
- Expertise in developing and delivering care and treatment plans.
- Physically able to bend, stand, lift, and adapt depending on patient needs.
- Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and car insurance.
- Able to travel between job sites.
- Comfortable working in varied environments, including home visits, therapy centers, and outdoor settings.
- Spanish-speaking required for San Diego, CA, and Ventura, CA locations.

What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement individualized ABA treatment plans.
- Train family members and caregivers on treatment plans and their proper use.
- Supervise and monitor treatment plans to ensure proper care.
- Update caregivers and communicate with the therapy team for treatment consistency.
- Provide one-on-one therapy when necessary.
- Complete and update 6-month reports and documentation.
- Track weekly reports and provide updates as needed.
- Attend IEP meetings to ensure goals, assessments, and reports align with treatment plans.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions and documentation.
