Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual methods
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in route driving or courier work is preferred
- Ability to safely operate various types of delivery vehicles, including tractor-trailers or vehicles with manual transmissions
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks or forklifts, is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
