Interview Process: Virtual Interview via MS Teams video. Please use
laptop and be prepared so share screen if asked. Use of headphones is
strongly discouraged. A screenshot photo of candidate will be required
for any Teams interviews as well as a vendor present at beginning of
interview to validate candidate.
Duration: 1 year with possible extension.
Remote or On-site: Candidates MUST be local or relocate from day of
acceptance at their own expense with no delays. Will need to be onsite
starting day 1 for hybrid work schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION.

Required technical and health care IT skills (7 years' experience):
HL7 version 2.x messaging
HL7 FHIR
CDA standards and related document types
Health care vocabularies; LONIC, SNOMED, RxNorm
Health Information Exchange (HIE) technology
Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE)
Implementing solutions based on Implementation Guides
Java script programming
SQL and XML
Desired Rhapsody skills including:
Using latest Orion Health Rhapsody Integration Engine (7.x)
Using Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK) to create custom filters, mappers,
etc.
Custom message payload translation from one format (e.g., JSON, XML,
HL7) to a different format (e.g., proprietary/legacy format)
Experience using web services, SOAP, REST, OAUTH, TCP-connections,
LLP, etc.
Experience using transport encryption/security; TLS, mutual
authorization via certificates, etc.
This position is for Software System Administrator who will support and
complete the tasks necessary to design and implement a methodology to
enable the MDHHS Health Services ESB to track the transmission of
messages and provide additional related services supporting the
interfaces for systems connecting to the Data Hub. Admin will work under
the direction of DTMB Customer Services, MDHHS and DTMB cross matrix
teams to support and complete the tasks necessary for the MDHHS
Enterprise ISA technical team. The resource is integral to supporting
and improving MDHHS automated processes, streamlining critical business
processes, data integrity, SEM/SUITE compliance, and securing the
applications. As a team member, the resource participates in a variety
of assignments that provides for the enhancement, integration,
maintenance, and implementation of projects. The resource will also
provide application oversight to business analysts and to other teams
integrating with Health Enterprise Service Bus (HESB). Not having a
System administrator on staff will delay ongoing and future project work
within the area and lead to DTMB inability to deliver on prioritized
enhancements and maintenance from HESB to all major applications like
MDSS, EDRS, myHB/HP, MICR, MIHIN, MPHI etc.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Responsible for developing solutions for new use cases.
Responsible for overall system design
Review and approve system design for new use cases.
Responsible for overall code and configuration
Review and approve code deliverables.
Coach and mentor developers
Code applications, interfaces, modules, components, and reports
Complete testing plan and checklists
Produce requested Systems Engineering Methodology (SEM) deliverables.
Complete transition and maintenance plans to enable state staff to
maintain applications, code, interfaces, modules, components, and
reports.
Perform knowledge transfer to state staff.
Create technical documentation.
Document and maintain the Incident Response Plan (IRP)
Document, track and resolve technical exception requests (TRB)
Document and maintain the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP)
Responsible for Health Service ESB's SSP / ATO / POAMS
Follow configuration management processes implemented.
Vendor support for Rhapsody licensing and software.
