The Clinical Pharmacy team at Independence Blue Cross (IBX) has multiple open projects and new initiatives and operational responsibilities including management of the IBX drug formulary list and collaborating with the IBX Pharmacy Benefits manager. The Project Management college co-op for Clinical Pharmacy Services will assist the Clinical Pharmacy team with planning, organizing, managing, and implementing Clinical Pharmacy related projects and initiatives. At the conclusion of this assignment candidates can expect to gain experience planning and executing projects, using project management software, and developing internal communication documents detailing standard operating procedures for the Clinical Pharmacy team.
College Co-op Job Description:
The college co-op will assist the Clinical Pharmacy team with organizing, managing, and implementing Pharmacy related projects. The college co-op student will gain experience in project management, health administration, corporate communication, and leadership.
The primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
• Develop and provide QA of Pharmacy Services standard operating procedure documents, Visio Workflows and Project Plans.
• Conduct staff interviews and create status reports for the Clinical Pharmacy Services team.
• Develop SharePoint site for Clinical Pharmacy Services team for internal document tracking and record retention.
Required Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Visio
• Ability to create, manage, and interpret visual workflow documents
• Excellent communication and interviewing skills
• Ability to manage and interpret large sets of data
• Familiarity with Data Visualization Software (such as Tableau)
Majors: Statistics, Computer Science
Classification: Junior, Senior, or Recent Graduate (must have graduated within one year or less of April 1, 2025)
Minimum GPA: 3.0
