We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Manager – Supply Chain to oversee and enhance quality assurance processes within our client's food and manufacturing supply chain. This role is critical in ensuring product safety, compliance with regulatory standards, and continuous quality improvement across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, industry standards (e.g., HACCP, GFSI, FDA, FSMA, BRC, SQF), and company policies.
- Supplier Quality Management: Develop and maintain supplier quality programs, including audits, performance evaluations, and corrective action plans.
- Process Improvement: Implement and monitor quality control processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to ensure product integrity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align quality standards across all operations.
- Training & Development: Provide guidance and training to internal teams and suppliers on quality management best practices.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize data to track key quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Customer & Regulatory Interaction: Respond to customer complaints and regulatory inquiries, ensuring timely resolution of quality-related issues.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Supply Chain Management, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role within the food manufacturing or supply chain industry.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GFSI (BRC, SQF), FSMA, and other relevant food safety regulations.
- Experience in supplier auditing and quality assurance methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities to collaborate across multiple departments.
- Proficiency in quality management software and data analytics tools.
- Certification in HACCP, PCQI, or Six Sigma (preferred but not required).
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
