Job Description

[Crypto Firm Name] is seeking an experienced Atlassian Jira Consultant to assess, optimize, and implement improvements to our existing Jira platform. This remote, 3-month consulting engagement will involve evaluating the current Jira configuration, identifying inefficiencies, and executing strategic enhancements to improve usability, performance, and alignment with business needs.

Key Responsibilities Assessment & Analysis

• Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and related Atlassian tools to analyze current configurations, workflows, permissions, automation, and integrations.
  
  

Optimization & Implementation

• Develop a detailed assessment report highlighting pain points, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in workflow design, automation, reporting, and system performance.
• Reconfigure Jira workflows, schemes, and automation rules.
• Optimize user roles, permissions, and security settings.
• Enhance dashboards, reporting, and analytics capabilities.
• Implement best practices for Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and ITSM methodologies within Jira.
• Streamline Jira integrations with other tools (e.g., Confluence, Bitbucket, ServiceNow, Slack, etc.).
  
  

Collaboration & Knowledge Transfer

• Partner with IT, DevOps, Product, and Operations teams to ensure Jira enhancements align with business objectives.
• Provide training, documentation, and best practices to internal teams for ongoing Jira management and optimization.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Atlassian Jira Consultant, Jira Administrator, or Atlassian Solutions Architect with hands-on implementation expertise.
• Strong skills in Jira administration, workflow automation (Jira Automation, ScriptRunner, Power Scripts, etc.), and integrations with enterprise tools.
• Experience configuring and managing Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence in enterprise environments.
• Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and ITSM methodologies and their implementation in Jira.
• Ability to analyze complex Jira environments and execute solutions effectively.
• Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Atlassian certifications (ACP-100: Jira Administration, ACP-420: Jira Service Management, etc.).
• Experience in the financial services, digital assets, or blockchain industry is a plus.
