Senior Graphic Designer

Margot Elena Companies & Collections, a producer of beautiful bath, body, and lifestyle brands, is looking for a full-time Senior Graphic Designer to join our creative team.

Your portfolio is filled with work demonstrating a high level of artistic and technical skills on varied professional projects focusing on packaging and print. You’ll be zealous in your pursuit of great design, energetic and ambitious, working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven department. We love people who thrive on challenge and versatility.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of professional design studio experience is a must.
• Training or degree in graphic design or packaging design.
• Passionate, senior-level designer with a comprehensive portfolio that includes examples of compelling, modern, and sophisticated work for packaging, print, and digital.
• Uncompromising eye for detail, color, composition, and typography.
• Ability to ideate and build packaging mockups.
• Capable of working within varying brand styles and standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong collaborator, partnering with co-workers and cross-functional internal teams.
• Wizardry at multi-tasking. Ability to manage concurrent projects.
• Motivated, organized self-starter.
• An ego-free capability to understand and apply direction. Welcomes and builds upon feedback and the insight of others.
• Drive and dedication. Commitment to delivering on time.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials and production processes.
• Experience with pre-production and in-progress production processes. Taking ownership of accuracy, high-quality standards, and adherence to design guidelines (typography, material, color, components). Provides artwork, technical specifications, and communications for print and manufacturing vendors to facilitate production.
• Detailed, proactive problem solver.
• Stays current on design trends, contributing forward-thinking, fresh, and on-brand solutions.
• Mastery of Adobe Suite.

Nice to Have:

• Design experience with beauty or cosmetic brands.
• Design experience with accessories or 3D products.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $60,000. – $70,000. depending on relevant factors, including professional experience and portfolio. Additional Information:

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, an employee may be required to sit, or stand for long periods at a time; walk; sit; range of motion or full mobility and use of hands and fingers to handle or feel; and speak/talk, write/type or listen/hear and lift up to 40 pounds. The employee must occasionally reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Work Environment: The Senior Graphic Designer role will work in varied settings, including but not limited to office and warehouse environments with exposure to dust, moderate to loud noise, and varying temperatures. Locations may vary.
