Opal Foods is searching for a Maintenance Technician for our Layer Farm in Roggen, CO . This position is responsible for maintaining grounds and performing preventive maintenance / repairs on farm vehicles and equipment. Must maintain compliance with all company policies and governmental regulations including safety, bio-security and animal welfare requirements. This position will work in and on the grounds of the hen houses and must be able to work in a live animal / farm environment. This position will also assist the Production Manager with other projects and duties as needed.
Position Responsibilities :
- Keep vehicles and farm equipment running and operating safely and efficiently by performing regular maintenance and repairs
Perform preventive and urgent maintenance of vehicles and equipment
