Job Summary:
The Hotel Cafeteria Attendant is responsible for providing cleanliness in the cafeteria, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment. This role includes assisting with food and beverage service, maintaining the cleanliness of the cafeteria, and ensuring that all associates have a positive and enjoyable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Food and Beverage Service: Ensuring proper presentation and portion sizes according to hotel standards.
· Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure that dining tables, chairs, floors, and all areas of the cafeteria are clean and well-maintained at all times. Clean spills and crumbs promptly and wipe down surfaces as needed.
· Stocking and Restocking: Monitor food stations, ensuring items are replenished regularly throughout service. Restock beverages, condiments, napkins, and utensils as required.
· Monitor Food Safety Standards: Adhere to proper food handling and safety regulations, ensuring that food is stored, prepared, and served in a hygienic manner.
· Assist in Buffet Setup: Help in setting up buffet tables or food stations, ensuring that food items are neatly arranged, labeled, and maintained throughout the meal period.
· Problem Resolution: Address any complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, reporting serious issues to the supervisor or manager.
· Team Collaboration: Work closely with other cafeteria attendants, kitchen staff, and management to ensure the smooth operation of the cafeteria.

Qualifications:
· Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or food service role, preferably in a hotel or cafeteria setting.
· Skills:
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Basic math skills for handling cash and making change.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
o Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
o Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness.
· Physical Requirements:
o Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
o Ability to lift and carry light to medium-weight items.
o Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
