We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Compliance Specialist to join our team. The Payroll Compliance Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing across our organization. This individual will be responsible for conducting audits, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations governing payroll and wage laws. The Payroll Compliance Specialist will work collaboratively with the HR and Finance teams to drive process improvements and ensure the highest standards of accuracy and compliance. This position requires travel to 13-15 healthcare facilities across New Mexico.

Qualifications and Skills:
- High school education and related experience, are required.
- Payroll and/or Human Resources certification or degree, preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail; ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work with little supervision, taking initiative in tasks that need to be done.
- Ability to work with a high level of integrity, using discretion with sensitive and/or confidential information.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Able to operate various office equipment, including computers, copiers, scanners, printers, fax machines, etc., and software applications such as Microsoft Suite applications, etc.
- Ability to travel 75% of the time within the state of New Mexico.
