Opelon LLP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced part-time or full-time Estate Planning Attorney to join our Carlsbad office. We are a dynamic firm with a focus on providing estate planning solutions tailored to the needs of our clients. Compensation:
- Full-Time (40 hours/week): Base salary of $100,000/year percentage of collections.
- Part-Time (20 hours/week): Base salary of $50,000/year percentage of collections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive advanced estate planning services tailored to client's unique circumstances.
- Advise and draft documents related to asset protection, tax minimization, charitable giving strategies, and more.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement advanced trust structures and Medicaid planning solutions.
- Handle complex estate freeze techniques and cross-border estate planning matters.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for high-net-worth individuals and families, guiding them through advanced planning techniques.
Requirements:
- Bar Admission: Licensed to practice law in California.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of estate planning experience with demonstrated proficiency in advanced planning strategies (details below).
- Skills: Excellent drafting, communication, and client-relations skills.
- Templates: Provide and maintain a personal library of templates for advanced estate planning documents.
