Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment, and ensure the dental office runs efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patients
- Assist the dentist in various procedures such as restorative, oral surgery, endodontic, prosthodontic, and periodontal treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and infection control protocols
Experience
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including taking dental X-rays and impressions
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and dental procedures
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations
- Experience in the dental field ideal but not required

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.01 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
