SUMMARY
The administrative assistant is to provide support to the on-going operation of Open Arms Care Corporation. The administrative assistant is the first person seen when entering the facility, therefore the administrative assistant has a potent impact. The administrative assistant acts as an aid for all positions in the facility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Greet visitors at front desk and direct them to the appropriate person.
- Type all documents in a timely manner.
- Enter client trust checks.
- Answer the phone, direct calls and take messages.
- Keep track of daily census and turn around documents.
- Copy materials as needed/requested.
- File timesheets
- Make bank deposits, Social Security Income and Social Security Administration checks and returned money.
- Process all Social Security Administration and Social Security Income forms.
- Maintain all office machines.
- Keep track of census days for each month turn around document.
- Complete payee representative forms.
- Order all supplies monthly with the support of the accounting clerk.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED
Computer knowledge of Excel, Word, and Quicken.
One year experience as an administrative assistant.
Organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Must be able to demonstrate cooperative team skills.
