Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that encourages learning through play and exploration.
- Educate children in foundational subjects such as Math, literacy, and social skills.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to create a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Conduct assessments to monitor children's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support child welfare and development.
- Provide early intervention strategies for children who may need additional support.
- Foster an inclusive environment that respects diversity and promotes acceptance among peers.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom setting that encourages creativity and exploration.
Qualifications
- Child Development Associates, Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in preschool settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
- Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
