Job Overview
We are seeking experienced persons to to join our team as CAST (Critical Assistance Support Team) Monitoring Coordinators. Help us Inspire the Life Journeys by providing oversight and support services to the entire team, ensuring overall health and safety!
This position is not a work-from-home job. You will be required to be on-site at our corporate office and provide remote supervision of the staff and assistance to individuals that we support who utilize this service in their homes.
Current Available Position: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays; 7:00am-7:00pm.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent; Post-Secondary Education preferred.
- At least two years of experience working with adults with disabilities.
- Prior experience with software/technological-related duties.

Key Duties
- Responsible for the individual(s)’ services as outlined in the Ohio Individual Support Plan (OISP), including monitoring staff documentation per regulations.
- Personal interaction to assist staff and individual(s) to reach and maintain the highest level of safety and security in their home.
- Assistance with medication reminders, as required. This will be done in accordance with all Medication Administration regulations set by DODD.
- Respond to any Alpha Scan alerts for medications, health tracker, smores, activity apps, scheduling needs, and information updates via facetime, messaging, calling, texting or contacting staff, individuals, and teams to ensure alert is followed up on according to outlined procedures.
- Assessment, monitoring, and supervising individual safety, health, and welfare.
- Reporting of any needed repairs or supply needs.
- Maintain and display knowledge of all emergency policies and procedures.
- Completion of all required electronic documentation, as assigned.
- Coordinating with the individual, guardian, family members, and designated
- persons, as applicable, to ensure that the RESIDENT CONNECT PLATFORM AND ALPHA SCAN SYSTEMS STAY UPDATED IN REAL-TIME.
- Attending organizational and individual meetings, as assigned.
- Must always remain awake and alert while on-shift outside of approved breaks.
- Telephonic and electronic device support for all individuals and their support team members during incidents.
- Notification to emergency personnel such as police, fire, emergency medical services, and psychiatric crisis response entities.
- Provide virtual training to staff, when assigned.
- Monitor all screens outlining scheduling, incidents, pictures, texts, logs of calls, training of staff, service and activity documentation, community travel/locations, medical documentation, and additional information.
- Report all Unusual Incidents or Major Unusual Incidents that occur during periods
of monitoring to Incident Hotline or established reporting for location; Complete required Incident Reports.
- Maintain professional conduct and appearance.
- Any other duties as assigned as outlined by the OISP, including individual specific needs, behavioral interventions, preventative measures, etc.
