DENTAL ASSISTANT in TRAINING

Our rapidly growing privately owned and managed dental practice in MEDFORD is looking for highly motivated, friendly, energetic people to train as a Dental Assistant and help us care for our wonderful patients. If you are interested in a long term career as a Dental Assistant, but haven't been able to commit to enrolling in a Dental Assistant course due to time or finances, this may be the perfect opportunity for you! We are willing to do hands on training with someone who has little or no dental experience!

Job Duties Summary:
* Work chair-side as dentists examine and treat patients.
* Make patients as comfortable as possible in the dental chair and prepare them for treatment.
* Obtain patient dental records.
* Hand instruments and materials to dentists during procedures.
* Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
* Prepare trays of instruments for dental procedures.
* Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.

Requirements for this job are:

*Must be able to pass a background check.
