Our rapidly growing privately owned and managed dental practice in CENTRAL POINT is looking for a highly motivated, friendly, energetic EFDA Dental Assistant to help us LEAD our team and care for our wonderful patients. Job Duties Summary:
The primary responsibility of a Lead is to lead by performance and example. Leads should model the competency and positive attitude that we want everyone in the office to emulate.
- Particiapte in hiring decisions, onboading, and retention of team members.
- Manage schedule of the team to ensure proper coverage.
- Deligate and follow up on daily assignments with the team.
- Manage meal times for team.
- Participate in performance evaluations as assigned.
- Hold team members accountable.
- Engage in corrective conversations.
- Oversee patient interactions and help resolve patient issues.
- Maintain smooth work flow between clinic and patients.
- Prepare fo and particiapte in operational meetings.
- Work chair-side as dentists examine and treat patients.
- Make patients as comfortable as possible in the dental chair and prepare them for treatment.
- Obtain patient dental records.
- Hand instruments and materials to dentists during procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
- Prepare trays of instruments for dental procedures.
- Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
Requirements for this job are:
* Must be able to pass a background check
* Oregon EFDA or Radiology certificate OR currently in the process of completing requirements.
