About the job

We are currently seeking a qualified Senior BCBA Clinical Supervisor. A Senior BCBA Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing billable on-site outpatient behavioral treatment to children diagnosed with ASD. Specifically, provide assessment and treatment services based on principles of applied behavior analysis to reduce child problem behavior and increase adaptive skills. The Senior BCBA Clinical Supervisor assists in the quality assurance review of written assessments and implementing behavioral interventions and clinical administration. The in-depth experience and education of the Senior Clinical Supervisor should prepare them to consult on complicated behavioral cases. Work assignments require significant amounts of one-on-one interactions with behavior analysts, administrators, community providers, and/or clients receiving services (e.g., children and caregivers). As a result, the ability to communicate with diverse audiences is necessary. Unlike traditional BCBA Clinical Supervisors, the Senior BCBA Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for incorporating OBM administrative leadership into their role and assist with overall senior management of the agency.


Responsibilities:

  • Directs the development of individual assessment and treatment plans. Conceptualize assessment and treatment plans and contribute during daily sessions to the overall development of the case.
  • Conducting assessments related to the need for behavioral intervention (e.g., stimulus preference assessment, functional assessment, staff performance assessment).
  • Overseeing the implementation of behavior-analytic programs by others.
  • Other activities normally performed by a behavior analyst that are directly related to behavior analysis include attending planning meetings regarding the behavior analytic program, researching the literature related to the program, and talking to individuals about the program.
  • Obtains appropriate documentation for BACB; supervision adheres to BACB; guidelines for supervision and fulfills contractual responsibilities as outlined in supervision contracts with supervisees.
  • Caregiver training — Provides training for parents, teachers, and/or staff; ensures protocols/programs are carried out correctly. Provides diplomatic and appropriate corrective feedback. Demonstrates sensitivity to parent concerns. Provides timely updates to supervisory staff.
  • Supervises and monitors the activities of Behavior Therapists and Clinical Specialists, including oversight of the following: caregiver training, completion of behavioral assessments, development and implementation of behavioral programs, data collection, and other related services.
  • Interdisciplinary skills — Initiates and maintains contact with other professionals from outside agencies (schools, physicians). Incorporates feedback from other professionals into assessment and treatment plan. Provides timely training to other professionals.
  • Must utilize and be fluent with Central Reach Data Management — Develop a data collection system for parents, teachers, and/or staff. Obtains follow-up data in a timely manner. Maintains up-to-date graphs. Organizes and presents data in ways to facilitate interpretation.
  • Clinical duties as indicated for specific projects — takes responsibility for and contributes to individual projects above and beyond those responsibilities related to day-to-day activities.
  • Indicates key areas of responsibility, major job duties, special projects, and key objectives for this position. These items should be evaluated throughout the year and included in the written annual evaluation.
  • Public presentation — Alters presentation according to the audience. Conceptualizes information and succinctly summarizes it for the audience. Answers questions relating to the conceptualization of the case (e.g., methodology) or practical issues.


Billable Hours:

  • Tier 1: at least 25 billable hours weekly
  • Tier 2: at least 30 billable hours weekly

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, Applied Behavioral Analysis, or related program.
  • BCBA Certification (A MUST).
  • Must utilize and be fluent with Central Reach Data Management
  • Experience designing and implementing ABA programs across a variety of teaching techniques (e.g., DTT, NET), chronological ages, and developmental levels
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to learn more about how family dynamics, cultural diversity, and the grieving process affect ABA treatment.
  • Willingness to collaborate across disciplines and specialties (e.g., medical and school teams, Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapies) for the purposes of coordination and continuity of care.
  • Adherence to ethical standards in HIPPA and BCBA code of ethics.
  • Motivated to lead by example, supervise, and train Behavior Technicians
  • Complete technically sound progress reports and program management in a timely manner.
  • Valid driver’s license and a reliable form of insured transportation (driving is required with mileage reimbursement included).
  • Must be able to sit on the floor, kneel, run around, squat, and lift materials
  • Pass a background check and drug screen.
