What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Registered Nurse RN position at Open Door Rehabilitation Center?
Open Door has been a part of the community helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1963. Our residential program is uniquely structured to care for the specific needs of each individual we serve. Our group homes provide a family atmosphere where four to eight individuals live together with 24-hour staff support. At Open Door, we believe that every individual deserves to reach their fullest potential.
We are currently looking to fill a Part-time Nurse to maintain the specialized quality and care that we provide to our residents. Hours are flexible at approximately 10-15 hours a week. Perfect for those retired or wishing to supplement current income.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program
- Experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities preferred
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience - MUST HAVE!!
- Current RN license
- DHS RN Trainer status preferred; ability to become DHS RN Trainer required
- Successful background clearance as required by state, licensing and company rules and regulations
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on the job use
- Flexible Schedule a must
You will assist in aspects of
- Training
- Authorizing Medications
- Medication review
- Nursing Assessments
- State required evaluations and paperwork
- Administrative nursing duties
- Minimal personal contact with patients
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
