Job Description
Case Manager of Client Services
Part-Time – Paid Hourly Monday-Thursday 8:00 am – 3:30 pm (Hours can fluctuate)
Description:
· This position requires the person to be able to assist the clients in obtaining the services of Open Door Service Center. This position reports to the Executive Director.
Responsibilities:
- Interview clients, families, and individuals, gathering the required information to determine the eligibility of services per the Client Service Guidelines.
- Collects data and inputs information into the Client Resource Database.
- Protect and maintain the confidentiality of all information received from clients.
- Completes vouchers, Wal-Mart runs, transportation tickets (with ED knowledge), and other authorization of services needed. In conjunction with IT, maintain accurate expenditure records.
· Helps run all programs and paperwork involved with the Service Center these are Thrift Shop Vouchers, Birthday Bag Program, Go with Flow, VIP, TEFAP, and Senior Box. Work with the Pantry Case Manager to administrate inside food orders.
· Making the best judgment on Emergency Vouchers and knowing we must ebb and flow on cases.
· Working closely with the Volunteer Coordinator on training and securing volunteers for each location and all paper work included.
- work with Events Coordinator on fundraising
· Work with the community to build relations with vendors for the Emergency Voucher program (build and update book of names and numbers)
- Attend staff meetings, fundraiser meetings, and all other meetings as needed involving our Community (Interagency, Community Assessments, Resource Fairs) . Note: hours may vary with meetings.

Qualifications:
- Understand Open Door Service Center’s mission.
- Possess the ability to communicate with all individuals, deal with and help in difficult situations, and have a compassionate heart.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office with a large number of clients daily, collect correct data and make decisions concerning the client's needs, and obtain services needed.
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access computer programs.
- Possess good organizational skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
Education:
- Minimum of High School degree or GED.
- 1 yr working with our community
