Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage kitchen staff, providing training and guidance on food handling and safety protocols.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and controlling costs.
- Collaborate with chefs to develop menus that meet customer preferences while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Implement effective strategies for enhancing guest experiences through exceptional service.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for efficient order processing and tracking sales performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of food production areas to maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices, food safety regulations, and kitchen management.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Familiarity with food production processes and the ability to work collaboratively with culinary staff.
- Experience using POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- A degree in Hospitality Management or related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
