Description
As an Enrollment Specialist at Open Minds Child Development Center, you will play a
vital role in welcoming families into our early learning environment. Your primary
responsibility will be to guide parents and guardians through the enrollment process,
ensuring a smooth transition into our programs. By effectively communicating the
benefits of our center and understanding the unique needs of each family, you will
contribute to building a diverse and engaged community within our center.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Enrollment Guidance: Serve as the primary point of contact for families
interested in enrolling their children in our programs. Provide detailed information
about our curriculum, policies, and enrollment procedures.
2. Assessment of Family Needs: Conduct thorough assessments of families' needs,
preferences, and expectations to match them with the most suitable programs
and schedules offered by Open Minds Child Development Center.
3. Tours and Orientation: Coordinate and conduct tours of the facility for
prospective families. Offer comprehensive orientations to acquaint new families
with our center's environment, staff, and resources.
4. Application Processing: Manage the enrollment application process, ensuring all
required documentation is complete and accurate. Assist families with any
questions or concerns they may have during this process.
5. Communications: Maintain ongoing communication with enrolled families to
provide updates, address concerns, and facilitate a positive experience
throughout their journey with Open Minds Child Development Center.
6. Community Outreach: Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to develop
strategies for attracting new families to the center. Represent the center at
community events, preschool fairs, and other relevant gatherings to promote our
programs and services.
7. Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks related to enrollment,
such as maintaining accurate records, preparing enrollment reports, and
coordinating enrollment events or open houses.
8. Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends,
best practices, and regulatory requirements related to early
childhood education and enrollment. Contribute ideas and
feedback for improving enrollment processes and enhancing the overall
experience for families.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, or a related
field preferred.
Prior experience in enrollment management, admissions, or customer service
roles, preferably within an early learning environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage
effectively with diverse families and build positive relationships.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage
multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles, child development theories,
and licensing requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with enrollment
management software is a plus.
Working Conditions:
This position primarily operates in an office environment but may also involve
occasional visits to classrooms and outdoor play areas. Flexibility for a hybrid
work schedule is available.
Flexible working hours may be required to accommodate the schedules of
prospective families, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Occasional travel for community outreach events or professional development
opportunities may be necessary.
