Job description:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Sales Manager to support and drive sales operations within our growing furniture manufacturing business. This role involves coordinating with internal teams, managing client accounts, developing sales strategies, and supporting the Sales Manager in achieving departmental targets. The ideal candidate has experience in B2B sales, preferably in the furniture or manufacturing sector, with strong communication and organizational skills.
Job requirements:
- Assist the Sales Director in developing and executing sales strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach.
- Support the preparation of sales proposals, quotations, and contracts tailored to client needs.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and design teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer requirements are met.
- Monitor sales data and provide regular performance reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to represent the company and generate leads.
- Track customer feedback and relay product or service improvement suggestions to the relevant departments.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely follow-up on leads and opportunities.
Tasks:
- Daily communication with clients and prospects via email, phone, or in-person meetings.
- Follow up on quotations, samples, and ongoing orders.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing sales agreements and contracts.
- Analyze competitor activity and market trends to identify potential gaps or opportunities.
- Organize and lead internal meetings to align sales strategies with production capacity and timelines.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for review with the Sales Manager.
- Support pricing strategy discussions with insights from the market and customer feedback.
Additional Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in furniture, interior design, or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or trade shows.
