Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about doing things the right way? We’re looking for a Compliance Specialist to join our team and help ensure we’re meeting the standards that matter — for our clients, our partners, and each other.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Compliance Specialist, you’ll play an important role in helping us stay aligned with state, federal, and industry regulations. You’ll work closely with the Compliance Team and collaborate across departments to keep our policies sharp, our processes compliant, and our team informed.
Here’s a look at what your day-to-day might include:
- Helping maintain and update our compliance policies and written documentation.
- Supporting the implementation of our internal compliance program.
- Tracking compliance metrics and suggesting improvements to our current controls.
- Partnering with business units to review and enhance their compliance protocols.
- Conducting internal audits and reporting findings.
- Assisting with compliance-related employee training and communication.
- Contributing to efforts related to HiTrust, HIPAA, SOC 2, and other industry standards.
- Supporting our work in K2GRC.com compliance software solution.
What We’re Looking For:
- A college degree (required)
- At least 1 year of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field — or a relevant degree
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- A respectful, collaborative attitude
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- A willingness to stay current in your role and bring issues to management as needed
