Job Summary

The Patient Services Representative plays a crucial role in providing administrative support and exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting. They are responsible for managing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a seamless patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Schedule patient appointments and maintain appointment calendars
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and accurately
  • Verify patient insurance information and process billing
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
  • Provide administrative support to healthcare providers as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Some experience with patient billing/payments - must be on the resume
  • Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans
  • 1 year of recent experience working in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting
  • Ability to read, understand, and respond to detailed oral and written instructions
  • Experience with CS/Link - Epic
  • 2 years’ recent experience working as a Patient Service Representative In Cardiology
  • Understanding of medical terminology

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.20 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 5x8
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift

Work Location: In person

Salary : $22 - $23
