Job Overview

The Patient Services Representative plays a crucial role in providing administrative support and exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting. This position involves interacting with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience.

Duties

  • Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
  • Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits
  • Verify patient insurance information and process necessary paperwork
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries regarding appointments, services, and general information
  • Maintain patient records accurately and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care efficiently
  • Utilize electronic health record systems such as Meditech for data entry and retrieval

Special Requirements:
- 2 references from authority figures (Managers, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) within LAST YEAR will be required for Onboarding
- Flu vaccine required
*EPIC experience required*
*No RTO allowed*

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Rotating weekends
