These events involve running restaurants, concessions, catered event,s feeding the entertainers or players, and supporting all facets of the event. Job Description
Summary :An entry level position supporting the Catering Manager and Service Team on events. The Catering Staff position is an opportunity for anyone interested in the catering business as it allows for continuous training in all areas of event service. Catering Staff are the face of Russell Morin Catering and are expected to be neat, clean, organized and always courteous with a smile.
Job Responsibilities :Catering support staff will help load and unload the necessary equipment for each job and organize it according to instructions from the kitchen managerOrganize work area, dining area and service area for the event; breakdown of china, flatware and glassware and serving in the food lineReload event trucks after event service and leave facility as it was foundFollow proper sanitation methods and adhere to all company policies and procedures set forth by Russell Morin
Qualifications
Be of legal age to serve alcoholAlcohol Certification - Alcohol certification is required. please go to http://www.servsafe.com/home or http://www.gettips.com/ to become certified if you are not alreadyOne year banquet/ restaurant experience preferred. Hospitality or customer service background a plusLift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 poundsMust be able to maintain a regular and reliable attendance recordMust maintain a current and valid Driver's license and Driving recordThe functions for this position listed above are not all encompassing and may require you to perform other functions.EOE/AA
