Job Description
- Perform GT overall Layout Design with component layout design engineers
- Lead technical systems integration between various gas turbine component design teams
- Issue and revise Engineering Bill of Material
- Develop Risk assessments (FMEA) and participate in Root-Cause investigations for gas turbine systems
- Prepares or reviews design sketches, layouts, schematics, 3D models and drawings as part of a design team
- Perform necessary clearance calculations to ensure quality fit and function of turbine components
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree ( Masters highly preferred) in Engineering or Science Discipline from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 15 years of successful experience in gas/steam turbine
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in gas turbine layout design Highly Proficiency in one or more computational modeling (CAD) interactive graphics tools like NX, CATIA, UG (NX preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Mechanical design and detailed design knowledge of gas turbines and their operation, hot gas component design experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability in working in a cross-cultural team involving members from all across the globe
