Essential Responsibilities & Competencies
Regional Leadership
- Supports the Regional Executive Director in aligning to the vision and culture of excellence for 3 Cs (Christ – College – Character) and 5 Ls values
- Works closely with the Regional Executive Director and Principals to set clear educational excellence goals and strategies around the 3 Cs
- Supports and collaborates with the Regional ED to provide oversight for HOPE schools to implement the OSE Education Model to fidelity, including curriculum, instructional design, assessments, coaching, learning technologies, and data analysis, annual calendars, daily schedules, staffing plans, educational resources, and all other education model components.
- Personally, provides coaching to HOPE Deans and Principals, equipping them to deliver coaching to their school staff on all core areas of the OSE education model.
- Oversees the training program for all staff in the region related to the Education Model. (Includes tracking metrics, overseeing scheduling, overseeing quality and frequency of coaching, ensuring educational staff are making adequate progress on their learning pathways toward proficiency on core elements of their role, monitors bench strength metrics to ensure leadership pipelines are in place in areas related to the Education Model.)
- Utilizes data-driven instruction and student data resources, evaluates trends, and works with Regional Executive Director, Principals, and Deans to interpret results and develop strategies to drive achievement results
- Supports regional process improvement activities specific to educational outcomes
- Identifies purposeful professional development for principals, DOIs, teachers and other instructional staff, and supports the design and delivery of professional development
- Supports Regional Executive Director and overall region with special projects
- Provides input to Regional Executive Director on Principal, DOI, and DOS performance and assists in interviews for those roles.
- Stays informed about State of WI DPI and other compliance requirements and supports HOPE leadership to remain within those guidelines
- Stays informed of industry leading best practices and trends and identifies opportunities to enhance HOPE educational outcomes
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Build relationships with community partners who contribute to HOPE’s educational outcomes
- Manages time, people and resources efficiently and effectively
- Present at school sites daily
- Lives and acts as a Christian role model and HOPE Christian Schools representative in his/her life for our scholars, team members and community
- Agrees to comply at all times with our Code of Conduct and Statement of Faith
- Agrees to engage in the faith life of our scholars and in collaboration with other team members

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction or related field
- DPI state-certified Director of Curriculum and Instruction licensure (preferred), and three to five years of relevant experience, PhD preferred
- Three years minimum of successful classroom teaching
- Track record of success and proven results in driving student achievement
- Experience working with delivering high-quality education in urban, lower-income communities
- Experience using Teach Like a Champion and Driven by Data strategies for coaching teachers and educational leaders in an urban education setting (highly preferred)
- Experience with school teaching platforms and technology for virtual learning
- Exceptional MS Excel Skills and strong skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

This is primarily an on-site role working mostly from our WI schools and Regional Office located in Milwaukee, WI. Also, some travel will be required on occasion to be on site in our other schools, currently located in AZ.
