Role Purpose

The director of the advisory partnering team is responsible for ensuring leadership is provided with a seamless, high-quality and value-added strategic P&C partnering service to deliver on the P&C and organizational objectives.

The Director will carry their own portfolio of work and will be a trusted advisor to leadership across the organization and work closely with the teams they are accountable for. They will guide and coach the Advisory Partners who are accountable for their own portfolios, ensuring people matters are handled proactively, and will drive the consistency of treatment of staff across the network.

They will work closely with the Chief People & Culture Officer to develop change management strategies for the delivery of the People Strategy for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief People & Culture Officer, the Director of Advisory Partnering will :

  • Lead the Advisory Partner team and act as an advisor to the Chief People and Culture Officer
  • Ensure that the Advisory Partners provide leaders and staff with a seamless, high-quality, value-adding service that ensures fair, consistent and equitable treatment of staff
  • Play a key role in supporting the implementation of the people and culture strategy with stakeholders and advises leaders on employee-related matters and processes such as workforce planning, performance and development, employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, organizational design and development, team effectiveness, change management, employee engagement, and compensation matters as needed
  • Guide, coach, develop and manage the performance of the Advisory Partner team towards achieving high-quality services and support to staff and managers
  • Develop and foster a service-oriented culture within the Advisory Partner team, encouraging them to think creatively and deliver solutions that enhance the employee and workplace experience
  • Ensure leaders understand the culture, strategy and organizational structure to identify opportunities and challenges to reinforce employee engagement, inclusive management, and management capabilities
  • Develop and maintain communication and strong collaboration between the Advisor Partners and the global P&C team to ensure consistent and timely support and responses
  • Actively partner with specialist teams to ensure that the programs and departments needs are translated into the global P&C programs and initiatives, and that they align with the programs and departments priorities and goals.

    Essential : Educated to degree level or equivalent years of experience.

    Desirable : Membership of a recognized human resources institute.

    Experience

    Essential :

  • Leadership experience in a global P&C business partnering function; providing a strategic service level for senior managers and management teams
  • Proven organisation design experience in an international organization
  • Prior experience in managing teams and individuals in an international organisation (direct reports not located in the same country as this position)

  • The salary range for this role in the US is $145,100 - $275, 700. The final offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set and level of experience
