Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Workday Finance Technical Analyst to join our client’s team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in ERP systems to design, implement, and support financial software solutions. Working closely with departmental managers, you’ll automate processes and optimize system performance to meet strategic and operational objectives. You’ll also be responsible for system integration, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
This hybrid position will require one month of onsite training, followed by a hybrid work schedule. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical expertise, including user training and documentation creation. Additionally, you’ll serve as a liaison between internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth system operations, all while upholding the hospital’s mission, vision, and values.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with system users and technical teams to troubleshoot complex issues and ensure seamless system integration.
- Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and support for Workday Finance and related ERP applications.
- Lead and participate in the implementation of new systems, system upgrades, and enhancements to existing functionalities.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and resolving issues to maintain system efficiency.
- Develop, execute, and document testing protocols for system functions before implementing changes/upgrades.
- Create and maintain detailed support manuals, training materials, and user documentation.
- Serve as a technical expert, providing guidance and mentoring to other team members.
- Support business processes by gathering requirements, analyzing workflows, and recommending system improvements.
- Facilitate reporting from source systems to support department and organizational goals.
- Provide on-call support for end users and collaborate with the IT department to ensure system reliability.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or an additional 4 years of relevant ERP technical experience
- 6 years of experience with ERP systems implementation, change management, or testing including 3 years Workday Finance experience.
- 2 years of experience using Oracle and SQL commands.
- Proven experience in ERP design, process documentation, and unit testing.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse teams and clients.
- Certifications in SQL (Microsoft/Oracle/MySQL) or ERP systems (Workday, Lawson, Oracle).
- Knowledge of Workday Finance, Oracle, SQL, and advanced MS Excel.
- Familiarity with SharePoint and other collaboration tools.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
- Expertise in ERP design, build, and support.
- Strong technical judgment and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to lead and mentor team members, as well as resolve complex technical challenges.
- Deep understanding of healthcare industry trends, federal regulations, and vendor solutions.
