Your Impact Work alongside an international team of talented people who are passionate about technology. Gain exposure to critical industries such as power generation and chemical engineering. Evaluate feasibility and develop approach for integrating new feature and product requests into a complex distributed system. Collaborate with other professionals to develop high-level product specifications and system architecture with attention to system integration, security, and reliability. Communicate system and software specifications to development team. Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design and work with team to manage and communicate change. Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and junior architects. What You'll Need Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field. Experience developing software in various software languages (C, C , Java, JavaScript, C#, etc.) 8 years job experience in software or system design and architecture. Experience with inter-process communication, networking, and common networking protocols (TCP / IP, UDP, HTTP, SOAP, REST, DNP, etc...) Experience with MongoDB, Cassandra, Oracle, PostgreSQL or other databases. The salary range for this role is $127,000 to $158,700. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay.
