What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Engineer position at Open Systems Technologies?
You will be an integral member of our QA and development teams, working side by side with project managers, developers and end-users to build quality into our applications at every stage of development. In the role of QA Engineer,
MUST have 5 years' experience working with at least one major E/CTRM vendor software platform such as Endur, Allegro, CXL, Entrade etc. Endur preferably.
- Develop Test Plans, Test cases, Test Procedures for various types of testing such as Ad Hoc, Functional, GUI, Integration, Regression, Data Validation, User Interface, and overall system integration
- 2 years of programming experience preferably with Python/C#
- Test applications to Client bugs, as well as provide feedback on usability
- Experience with commodities financial / physical trading environments including front, middle and/or back-office technology
- Test automation experience and interested in integrating tests with CI process
- Understanding of exchange traded and OTC commodities products and lifecycle specifics
- Enthusiastic about helping to deliver high-quality applications, and love to break things
