A financial firm is looking for a Reference Data Project Manager to join their team in Jersey City, NJ.
Compensation: $140,000-200,000
Must have direct domain experience in capital markets reference data - i.e. knowledge of equities, fixed income, derivatives, etc.

Responsibilities:
- Work with business stakeholders and IT partners outside of firm to execute projects and deliver business solutions
- Manage IT and Reference Data projects across several teams
- Create and manage project plans across complex cross functional teams
- Document and communicate project status, risks, issues, mitigation plans
- Collect requirements and structure information, create system flows, and depict current state dependencies to provide project documentation
- Prepare and communicate senior management reports on program status and metrics
- Work closely with IT and Operations partners to identify area which require monitoring and create business as usual (BAU) processes to satisfy the requirement
- Management of internal delivery management tool to ensure staffing, deliverables, and status reporting for in-flight programs
- Managing client data inquiries and issues
Qualifications:
Required
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, MIS, or related fields, specialized training or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of experience as a Project Manager
- Financial Knowledge on Securities across multiple asset classes (Equites, Fixed Income, Mortgages, etc.)
- Strong experience with Atlassian and MS Office, with emphasis on JIRA, MS Visio, MS Project, MS PowerPoint
- Strong experience with Project Plans, RIAD Logs, Powerpoint Presentations, Senior Communications
- Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis
- Strong analytical skills and writing skills, including solid experience in writing functional and technical specifications
- Strong communication skills
- Banking Technology Program management lead experience
- Strong analytical skills and writing skills, to include solid experience in writing functional and technical specifications
- Strong teamwork skills in a small local setting, as well as across different geographic locations
- Experience with network diagrams and architecture diagrams
- Experienced in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Waterfall and Agile methodologies
