A financial firm is looking for a Release Manager to join their team in Richmond, Dallas, Denver, or Chicago.
Pay : $80-85 / hr
USC Only
Hybrid; on-site 2 days / week (Tues-Thurs)
Some night / weekend work during production release periods
This role will provide oversite, scheduling, coordination, communication, and support in the release of software deployments, upgrades and patches / bug fixes for the servers supported by National IT. They also contribute to operational improvements and support critical customers move to the Cloud and Colo. The focus of this role is to provide oversight / coordination / communication / support for software upgrades & projects.
Responsibilities : Provides collaborative or consultative work of varying complexity in areas of technology related strategic direction and support, problem resolution, and translating and executing business requirements for assigned IT business areas. Directs methodologies and measures to ensure appropriate processes and procedures are effective and meet IT standards. Coordinates, plans, and executes solutions to meet needs of clients, work teams and / or internal or external organization management groups. May collaborate and / or coordinate with cross functional teams. Qualifications :
Release management Agile knowledge / experience
Business analysis / Project management experience
Continuous improvement, ITSM, change management, cloud knowledge
