The ISG organization works in partnership with data clients across Client business lines deploying solutions to increase their competitiveness, through restructuring business processes, simplifying information access, and providing business intelligence around critical data. This role is part of Reference Data Management group in ISG.
The Senior Business Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical, and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.
Team Overview:
This Execution BA Team works on a global strategic technology platform - Global Corporate Action Event Repository.
Major Tasks Involve - Processing Vendor Data Feeds & Internal Upstream Client Data, Mapping Data, Analyzing and Researching Data, Working on Swift Messages, User Interface, Data Publishing to downstream client (via Cloud, custom publisher) as XML/ Reports, Rules & governance, Audit, Compliance. Coverage, Accuracy and Timeliness of Information are the key drivers. Client and User Requirements drives the Product Roadmap. Team is spread around globally in multiple locations.

Required Skills:
• Working with Clients and capture Business Requirement
• Strong analytical skills and writing skills, to include solid experience in writing functional and technical specifications
• Validation and Testing in collaboration with Dev/QA/Operations.
• Understanding of Data Vendor/Data Source Hierarchy for Golden Copy
• Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis
• College degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
• Ability to focus on high quality work while under pressure
• Data Oriented with an excellent attention to detail
Qualifications:
• 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Proven ability of using complex analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques
• Proven interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management and prioritization skills
• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail
Education:
• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
