Role/Position Overview:
As a Technical Engineering Manager on our Data Concerns Remediation Management platform,
you will drive, design, PoC critical core components while acting as a trusted advisor to the
senior management team and lead architect. You will make clear, simple and technically sound
decisions and champion high standards of coding and architecture best practices. You will drive
discussions with multiple business and technology stakeholders, manage global and regional
teams and programs, make sure prioritization is in place, supervise end-to-end initiatives, co-
ordinate implementation and post-implementation support, interact with stakeholders at many
levels of the organization, from junior analysts to senior management across multiple
departments.
Not only will you utilize management and technical expertise to lead major projects, but also you
will manage your project goals, contribute to product strategy and work closely with the product
owner and lead challenging initiatives. You will mentor and lead the junior and middle level
talent within the team, ensuring we have a clear pipeline of talent to promote within the
organization.
Responsibilities:
• Design and build high-quality, highly reliable software
• Partner closely with other development teams, quants and subject-matter experts in our
businesses
• Run the platform at scale while continuing to innovate and evolve
Skills and qualifications:
• Strong knowledge and deep experience of Python and toolchains, Java, SQL,
JavaScript (D3.js), Bash
• Experienced in and strong knowledge of using AI/ML and more particularly LLMs eager
to apply this rapidly changing technology. Machine Learning: Neural Networks, Decision
Trees, SVM, NLP, Reinforcement Learning, Ensemble Methods
• Strong knowledge with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), prompt engineering
• Knowledge of advanced statistical/machine learning techniques, algorithms, concepts
and experience in the application
• Data Processing: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib
• Experience with CI/CD and MLOps tools/frameworks (e.g. MLflow and W&B)
• Experienced in building and running a large platform at scale
• Strong distributed systems skills and knowledge
• Strong system architecture skills
• Knowledge of other modern, functional languages e.g. Scala, Clojure, Rust, Elixir
• Solid understanding of REST-ful design
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Development experience of at least one public cloud provider
Qualifications:
• 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience in implementing projects
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
• Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) in area(s) of Applications Development
• Demonstrated knowledge of client core business functions

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
