What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Project Manager position at Open Technology Solutions, LLC?
The Sr Project Manager works collaboratively with the consortium on large strategic projects of varying sizes and complexity. Most projects will require working closely with Technical Resources and Business Partners and the Sr PM will be engaged during the project process from conception to closure and hand-off to operations. The Sr Project Manager will need to create and foster lasting positive vendor and customer relationships. The Sr Project Manager will be expected to work with a cross-functional team consisting of team members from multiple organizations. In this role, the Sr PM must keep the team engaged and focused, remove blockers, and maintain the project schedule. This role will also mentor Jr Project Managers and Project Managers as needed.
A person who will be successful in this role will need to be highly organized, adaptable, and self-motivated. They must be perceptive and able to discern project and task priority with little direction. This person must be able to lead without direct authority and keep the team on task. Lastly, the ability to quickly understand our business and apply critical thinking skills to the job responsibilities will be very important to success in this role.

- Manage project team and/or volunteers according to the established policies and practices of the organization. Keep Management informed of all issues and provides Management Status Reports and project performance
- Manage and Drive projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline
- Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management, business groups, OTS staff, Business Partners, Vendors and Customers
- Create effective Project Documents including Project Charter, Business Case, Risk Assessments, Status Report, Schedule, Risk & Issues, resource constraints, and costing information if applicable
- Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion. Execute the project according to the project plan, milestones, and schedule.
- Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders, product owners including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project
- Organize and facilitate project planning, project team meetings, lessons learned, and release planning,
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and sponsors at each Credit Union, S3 and within OTS to support the key initiatives.
- Keep all projects up to date in Project Portfolio Management System and any additional reporting systems
- Participate proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices.
- Identify and remove blockers and prevent distractions that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver the project.
- Manage all documentation and reporting
- Work multiple projects simultaneously
- Assists with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Track deliverables and benefit realization
- Facilitates discussion, decision making, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
- Provides all team support by utilizing a servant leadership style and leading by example.
- This role will also mentor Jr Project Managers and Project Managers as needed.

Qualifications:
Formal Education & Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- PMP and/or CSM certification preferred.
- ITIL certification a plus.
- CRM project experience a plus.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I) a plus
Knowledge & Experience:
- Must have at least 5 years of experience delivering enterprise-wide projects in an IT organization, coordinating technical and business teams.
- Must have 5 years of experience working across SDLC.
- Experience interacting with and influencing senior members of management
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills required
- Some experience with Agile techniques including User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, and Automated Testing a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Target salary range for this position will be $120,000 to $140,000, depending on qualifications.
- In addition, this position is eligible for an annual bonus eligibility with a target payout of 10%, based on company and individual performance
