About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Robotics Systems Integration & Electrical Engineer to join our team and take charge of designing and integrating robotic systems from the ground up. This role is pivotal in bringing robotic prototypes to life and refining them through to full-scale production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical Engineering, a knack for hands-on problem-solving, and expertise in silicon selection and PCB management.
In this role you will :
- Lead the design and integration of robotic systems from initial prototypes through to production-ready solutions.
- Translate product requirements into detailed engineering specifications and system architectures.
- Collaborate with external partners to oversee PCB development and select appropriate silicon components.
- Develop and implement comprehensive system-level test plans for hardware and software features.
- Utilize data from prototype testing to refine and optimize system design and performance.
- Serve as the systems integration expert, guiding the project through the entire development lifecycle.
- Create and iterate on early-stage prototypes to identify and mitigate potential risks with new technologies.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and software interactions in the robotics system.
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery.
