OpenChift is seeking a seasoned Center of Excellence (CoE) Program Manager to join our Clients Project & Product Delivery Center of Excellence Team. The successful candidate will lead the strategic direction for their assigned program area and manage the CoE team. The role involves guiding project teams using Waterfall, Agile, SAFe, and Kanban methodologies, collaborating with other Program Managers, Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and Release Train Engineers (RTEs) to ensure adherence to established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the Center of Excellence team, setting direction and strategy.
· Provide guidance and oversight to project teams utilizing methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, SAFe, and Kanban.
· Collaborate with other program managers, project managers, scrum masters, and RTEs to ensure compliance with procedures.
· Program and create custom reports using standard IT application tools.
Required Qualifications:
· Minimum of 10 years' experience in leading and managing direct reports, including setting strategic direction for the team.
· Proven ability to program and create custom reports using IT application standard tools.
· PMP certification.
· At least 15 years of combined experience with Scrum, Agile, SAFe, Product Line, and Waterfall methodologies.
· Extensive experience managing complex projects with multiple workstreams and high organizational change (15 years).
· Strong functional understanding of MS Project, Project Server, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Planner, and Power BI.
Desired Skills and Experience:
· Proven experience managing and leading direct reports (10 years).
· Adept at managing and providing guidance to project teams (10 years).
· Extensive project management experience (20 years).
· Experience providing training to project managers and project teams (10 years).
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Server) and Microsoft Project/POL experience (10 years).
· Experience working in a PMO office (15 years).
· Experience working in both remote and local team environments (5 years).
· Experience in reporting metrics (8 years).
· Business process improvement experience (5 years).
