Data Architect (Onsite)
Long Term Contract
Requirements:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
• Experience with large and complex database management systems (7 years);
• Experience in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA);
• Experience in Azure Cloud technologies, particularly Azure Message Queues, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Logic Apps;
• Experience delivering SOA projects in government settings;
• Experience in C#, Python, or Java, with the ability to develop custom solutions on Azure;
Preferred:
• Experience in government compliance and security requirements for software development and data management;
• Experience working in government environments.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Responsible for enterprise-wide data design, balancing optimization of data access with batch loading and resource utilization factors;
• Knowledgeable in most aspects of designing and constructing data architectures, operational data stores, and data mart;
• Focus on enterprise-wide data modeling and database design;
• Define data architecture standards, policies and procedures for the organization, structure, attributes and nomenclature of data elements, and applies accepted data content standards to technology projects;
• Responsible for business analysis, data acquisition and access analysis and design;
• Database Management Systems optimization, recovery strategy and load strategy design and implementation;
• Design, implement, and maintain a robust SOA to ensure seamless data synchronization across distributed systems within a government environment
