We are seeking a Director of Operations for one of our leading clients. This role is crucial in developing and implementing HR and Operations strategies that support employees, foster diversity and inclusion, and leverage technology for optimal efficiency. The Director of Operations will have a primary focus on managing all aspects company operations focusing on successfully executing our Federal Government contracts

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of business operations, with a specific emphasis on managing all Federal Government contract deliverables, ensuring compliance and performance exceeding standards.
  • Responsible for setting up the contract and managing the contracts through the life cycle of the contract.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve "Very Good" to "Exceptional" CPARS ratings on all Federal Government contracts, implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Federal Government procurement processes, contracting vehicles (e.g., GSA Schedule, GWACs, IDIQs), and CPARS requirements.
  • Proactively analyze contract performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement corrective actions to maintain exceptional service delivery and position the company for successful recompete contracts.
  • Research, design, and implement new HR programs and policies, while assessing and improving existing ones to enhance engagement, retention, and support company growth.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor operational systems and processes that provide clear visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for key initiatives.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance, collaborative environment, demonstrating the ability to execute tasks precisely and efficiently.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level decision-makers in Federal agencies, acting as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters.
  • Plan, monitor, and analyze key performance metrics to ensure efficient and timely completion of operational tasks.
  • Uphold organizational policies and standards, ensuring compliance with all legislative regulations.
  • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion as an integral part of the work environment.
  • Deliver high-impact HR programs related to performance management, benefits, compensation, and succession planning.
  • Identify the operations and contract efficiencies to reduce the cost and increase the profits.
  • 10 years of senior leadership experience in a related field.
  • 5 years of proven experience working with Federal Government contracts, demonstrating a track record of successful contract management and achieving high customer satisfaction
  • Deep understanding of CPARS criteria and demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies to consistently achieve outstanding ratings.
  • Advanced knowledge of HR issues impacting operations, including compliance, employee morale, performance, and productivity.
  • Proven ability to influence and drive change.
  • Experience in technology and high-growth entrepreneurial companies.
  • Adept at identifying and proposing solutions to various business problems.
  • Experience designing cost-effective, market-competitive compensation and benefits programs that drive retention.
  • Skilled in building and communicating business rationale and financial impacts of people-based programs.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or HR

Preferred

  • Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Advanced degree.
  • PMP Certification
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP Certification
  • BD and Proposal Writing Experience
