About the Role
Opendoor is looking for Staff Product Designers to help build the future of our consumer experience. As a designer on the Growth team, you’ll have clear, measurable impact on the business— ranging from revolutionizing the top-of-funnel system, to onboarding new customers and re-engaging existing ones sitting on the fence.
We appreciate designers who think deeply about people and processes, not just pixels, and love getting their hands dirty with customer research. The ideal designer for this team has experience building service-oriented consumer products.
What You'll Do
- Ideate : Work with Product, Engineering, Research, and Operations to design and visualize prototype the future of our end-to-end customer experience.
- Research : Partner with Research to conduct user interviews and determine common pain points, product improvements, and priorities. Conduct light-weight research independently to inform design decisions.
- Create : Design information architecture diagrams, wireframes, flows, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes for your features.
- Communicate : Showcase your vision and rationale behind design decisions to stakeholders and your team.
- Collaborate : Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations to validate the feasibility of your work and ensure high-quality implementation.

Compensation
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The U.S. pay range for this position is $180,000-$225,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. We also offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, 12 paid holidays per year, medical / dental / vision insurance, basic life insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
