Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a candidate to provide Financial Analyst support to the Sponsor, providing the necessary tools and expertise to develop cost estimates, manage program and project budgets, and controlling costs for multiple programs which may be funded from multiple funding sources.Develop and maintain spend plansProvide strategic and programmatic plans and budget support to Sponsor activitiesTrack and monitor the execution of Sponsor fundsPerform short and long-term financial trend analysis leveraging Sponsor DataReconcilespend plans with actual and planned expenditures and recommend options to address potential over-or-underutilization of resourcesAssist personnel in researching and resolving resource and budget issues and questionsRequired Qualifications : Active TS / SCI with PolyBachelor’s degree and 5 to 20 years related experienceExperience with Sponsor’s financial systems, tools, andfinancial methodsExperience with COGNOS, PARIS, BASIS, BCR and SLA applicationsExperience with financial managementandplanningUnderstanding ofcommit,obligation, and expense methodology of the customer finance systemExperience in developing month to month annual and multi-yearSponsorbudgetsAbility to analyze and evaluate financial data to resolve inconsistencies, identify key issues, and propose solutionsIntermediate / expert level proficiency with Microsoft Excel version to perform various types of data analysisProficient with excel workbooks, worksheets, cells and ranges, tables, and worksheet formatting (e.g. including conditional formatting), printing, templates,anddata validationProficient working with formulas and functions to manipulate text, sorting with date and times, creating formulas that count / sum, creating formulas that lookup values without sorting data (e.g. index / match)Proficient creatingcharts, graphs, andpivot tables(from data ranges and tables),adding slicers(to assist with filtering data)What’s in It for You?
