Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Layout Engineer to create and modify photonic device and PIC designs. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of experts in silicon photonics to implement quality layouts on our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize layouts of photonic components and circuits.
- Collaborate with process engineers to ensure layout compatibility with rapidly developing design rules and guidelines.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Computer Science, or related engineering discipline.
- Strong programming skills (preferably Python). Knowledge of semiconductor design and/or fabrication.
- Knowledge of optics and/or photonics theory and design.
