Position Summary:
This role will responsible for assessing customer needs, product planning and implementation for payment products and solutions across North America. This position will define, lead, and align to strategic objectives set and drive to create roadmap to address features, functionality, capabilities and services required by the platform for consumption by product groups within our organisation, by partners, and customers. This role is focused to optimize, deliver growth, profit, and market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with key customers, commercial teams and architects in the region to drive solutions based on core products in the portfolio
- Define and continuously refine the payment roadmap for the region, including market requirements and compliance, customer requirements and product convergence activities
- Gain VOC (internal and external) on the product(s) to ensure user adoption, securing raw inputs from customers, suppliers, channel partners
- Identify and create business cases for new products/features to drive additional customer benefit and ultimately additional revenues for the product line
- Actively participate and keep up to date with local standards bodies, regional payment & scheme mandates, and ensure appropriate timing of delivery in the product roadmap
- Drive the engineering priorities for your product(s) through the PI planning process, and work with the other product leaders to manage dependencies
- Work with sales and marketing to provide a strong value proposition for your product(s) and enable clear go-to-market strategy and materials, sales enablement collateral and training
- Perform competitive analysis and market research to influence the strategy of your product(s)
- Package and price products based on current customer data, previous sales data, market intelligence, and other data points
Work experience requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of product management or engineering experience, preferably in payment hardware and software solutions targeting in the payment ecosystem.
- Minimum two years of regional accountability for a product portfolio
- Understanding of payment platform architecture and product compliance for PCI and EMV certification
- Understanding POS functionality and experience in fuels space is good to have.
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams in multiple time zones.
- Experience of complex interdependent projects/products.
- Hands on experience of SaFe, Program increment planning.

- Has a customer-driven mindset and aptitude for engineering excellence
- Have a strong product management and technical background
- Experience in leading product development with products deployed in the payment ecosystem
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite, jira, confluence and Project management tools.
- Possess basic financial skills.
Essential Requirements:
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
